Kyrsten Sinema the one time Arizona Democrat who surprisingly won election in 2018 is ditching the Democrat party and has registered as an independent. Now before you get too excited, this doesn’t mean it will affect Senate numbers. She has already said she will not caucus with Republicans. The question is, will she continue caucusing with Democrats? Or will she be a true independent, not caucusing with either party. If Sinema doesn’t caucus with Democrats, the Senate goes to 50 Democrats and 49 Republicans.
Also remember communists Bernie Sanders and Anus King of Maine are “independents” but they are as far left as Democrats. Sinema says he voting record will not change.
The one interesting factor now becomes the 2024 election. IF Sinema runs in o years. That is if they don’t nominate some whack job and terrible candidate. The best thing about this is, the communists are in total meltdown now on social media.n e2024 as an independent, she will draw a far left communist Democrat challenger. This will split the Democrat communist vote giving Republicans a good shot at taking the seat in two years if they don’t nominate some whack job candidate.
