I told you McCarthy was a snake. He’s been so thoroughly embarrassed, failing five times to win the Speaker’s vote, that he is now negotiating with Democrats for a “consensus candidate”. Do you understand now why the GOP always loses and there was no red wave?
If McCarthy had any integrity, he’d either give up the chair for someone that all Republicans could agree on, or give the 20+ holdout votes what they want. McCarthy is Paul Ryan 2.0
