As Fox News continues to circle the toilet by trotting out idiots like Geraldo Rivera, they also reveal their arrogance and stupidy. On “The Five” today, there was again a discussion about banning guns. Rivera wants to ban all AR-15s unless it’s for sport hunting or something. Like he did when he went into Al Capone’s vault, he found another way to embarrass himself. Apparently Gerry thinks that the AR in AR-15 means “Automatic Rifle” or something.
Of course, no one bothered to school Gerry on what the AR really means which of course is “ArmaLite” rifle which replaced the M14 after the Vietnam War. Considering how old Geraldo Rivera is, you would think he would know this. A quick Google search on his phone that photographed him nude in his bathroom would have revealed to Gerry what AR meant.
