The NHL has gone woke, after getting busted in Florida for calling for trans people to apply for intern positions. Now, Ivan Provorov is being labeled homophobic for refusing to wear the rainbow “pride jersey” in warmups before a game against Anaheim.
Provorov will likely be cancelled, like Enis Kanter of the NBA who stood up against China and their slavery policies. It used to be you could get to a sporting event to get away from crap like politics. Not anymore.
Of course the vast majority of the players in the NHL are from Canada. That countries has basically taken “woke” and global warming propaganda to another level. Even worse than here.
