The loonies in California, especially San Francisco have apparently redefined what a “lovely day” is. According to this SF Chronicle “journalist” Emily Hoeven, it was a lovely day as she waited to get coffee and watched a man take a dump on the BART train tracks. The “lovely day” continued as the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) was forced to come to a complete stop to remove the feces and vagrant from the train tracks.
Had a lovely day in San Francisco, one that also reminded me of the challenges the city/region faces: Walking to get a coffee, I saw an unhoused person defecating in the street. And now, my BART train has come to a standstill as police try to help/remove a person on the tracks.

I don’t know about you, but this isn’t what I’d consider a “lovely day”. Seeing someone poop on train tracks, then have to be forcibly removed by police isn’t exactly something I get up in the morning, hoping I see. These people are beyond nuts.
