So much so that after Elon Musk gave him his own show on Twitter/X Lemonhead made ridiculous demands in order to continue doing the show that Elon Musk pulled the plug on already… Not only was Lemon going to be paid $8 million per year, he demanded $5 million, a Tesla Cybertruck and a private jet and a private jet and suite in Las Vegas for him and his lover to do the show.
Bruh should have been thankful anyone was willing to pay him $8 million per year. Who in the hell is a fired hack, past his prime like Don Lemon to make any demands?
Among the asks were a $5 million upfront payment on top of an $8 million salary, and an equity stake in the social media platform. Lemon also apparently insisted on a free Tesla Cybertruck, a private jet to Las Vegas complete with a suite for him and his fiancé — and that the company pay for their day drinking and massages.
Though his move to X was announced to much fanfare in January, the show collapsed after Lemon and Musk held a contentious interview. While Lemon has promised to release the full interview on March 18, leaked snippets show several testy exchanges.
