America beat the communist Russians back in the 1980 Winter Olympic games, as Al Micheals proclaimed “Do you believe in miracles? YES!” After beating Russia, they had to beat Finland to win the gold medal and they did.
None of this has to do with the NHL or the Stanley Cup of course, but idiot communist, in a Twitter post about the 1980 hockey team decided to pose with the Stanley Cup (something no Minnesota team has ever won BTW).
