Ok… Even I have to admit I’m pleasantly surprised by Team USA’s victory over the arrogant Canadian hockey team to win their first Olympic gold medal since 1980. No Canadian team has won a Stanley Cup in 33 years, the Blue Jays choked away a 3-2 World Series lead over the Dodgers and now both the men’s and women’s USA hockey teams beat Canada for the gold medal by the same score, 2-1… Don’t worry Canadians.. You can claim how you “outplayed” the US and all that, but you wouldn’t get a participation trophy. I’ll bet that MAiD thing in Canada is at record levels after this humiliation.
But at least you guys have Carney and the CCP.
