Communist Democrats mock the six people awarded medals at the State of the Union, including the late Sarah Beckstrom who received Purple Heart posthumously

Six people were awarded medals last night at the State of the Union address when filthy communist pig Democrats couldn’t even stand, or clap for them… The six people included:

Eric Slover, an Army Chief Warrant Officer, received the Medal of Honor for his actions during the January 2026 raid that captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Despite being severely wounded by multiple gunshots to his leg and hip, Slover successfully piloted his helicopter through enemy fire, ensuring the mission’s success.

Royce Williams, a 100-year-old retired Navy Captain, was also awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic aerial combat during the Korean War. In a classified 1952 dogfight, Williams shot down four Soviet MiG-15 fighters while flying an inferior aircraft, surviving 263 bullet impacts to his plane. First Lady Melania Trump presented him with the medal.

Connor Hellebuyck, Team USA’s Olympic gold medal-winning goalie, was announced as the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, for leading the U.S. men’s hockey team to victory at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Scott Ruskan, a Coast Guard rescue swimmer, received the Legion of Merit for saving 165 people during deadly Texas floods.
Andrew Wolfe, an Air Force Staff Sergeant, was awarded the Purple Heart after surviving a shooting near the White House.
Sarah Beckstrom, a West Virginia National Guard Specialist, was awarded the Purple Heart posthumously after dying from wounds sustained in the same attack.
