“Educated” leftists at New York Times thinks NATO stands for “North American Treaty Organization”

There are a total of 32 countries in NATO… Only two from North America, the US (who funds basically everything) and Canada. The other 30 countries are all based in Europe… Yet somehow, the “educated” eggheads at the New York Times thought that NATO stood for the North American Treaty Organization… Why would something with two North American countries and 30 European countries be called that?

This is yet another example as to why the American education system is the joke of the world.. I don’t know how bad it is in Canada, but if it’s anything like this, then they are in trouble too.
