It makes a lot of sense for China to buy oil from Alaska instead of terrorist Iran…. The trip from Alaska to China and back is a lot shorter than going through the Strait of Hormuz to China. It’s also cheaper, the quality of the oil is better in Alaska and unless Russia has a death wish, it’s a painless, safe trip.
