Ted Cruz wins Alaska GOP Caucus

Ted Cruz beat Donald Trump by about 600 votes to win the Alaska caucus. This means Ted Cruz won three states (Texas, Oklahoma and Alaska) which turned out to be a surprise. According to all the polls before Super Tuesday, Ted Cruz was only expected to win Texas, and not even by the margin he ended up winning it by. Trump was predicted to win all other states besides Texas, but he also lost Minnesota to thirsty Little Rubio. Poor little thirsty Rubio was a distant third behind Cruz and Trump in Alaska. So much for Palin’s endorsement of Trump.

The Alaska GOP caucus had nearly 22,000 votes state wide, in yet another record setting turnout out this year for GOP caucuses and primaries.

Cruz got 12 delegates from Alaska, Trump got 11 and Little Rubio got 5.

Now the focus goes to the GOP debate on Fox News tomorrow, which should be very interesting. Then over the weekend there are more primary and caucuses on Saturday, and even Sunday in Puerto Rico.
