Fox News worries about angering Mexicans on Cinco de Mayo

Apparently you even have to worry about what you do on Cinco de Mayo so that you don’t “anger” Mexicans. Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in this country as Mexican Independence Day, but in Mexico it has no meaning or big celebration. The real Mexican Independence Day is considered to be September 16th, not the fifth of May. Yet now, Fox News is worried about their readers ‘angering’ Mexicans, as you can see from this news alert and article on the site:

Ok first of all, what I do on Cinco de Mayo, if it offends anyone, too damn bad. Secondly, since when did we have to worry about “angering” Mexicans on Cinco de Mayo before? It’s well know it’s just an American thing that has no meaning to real Mexicans. If I want to drink beer, wear a sombrero or whatever, I’ll do it. I don’t care who it offends. Fox News is sadly going the way of CNN and MSNBC if they are so worried about offending Mexicans on a non-holiday.

Did Fox News worry about offending Mexicans when Anthony Weiner went by the name Carlos Danger?
