Songbird John McCain has announced plans for his funeral. Mike Pence is invited to attend, whenever that happens. But the sitting president of the United States, Donald Trump is not invited, nor is his family. John McCain proves yet again what a bitter old codger he is. The way old Songbird McCain has been chirping lately almost sounds like he knows he’s about to to die sooner rather than later.

The Times on Saturday reported on the “memories and regrets” the senator shared with friends who have come to visit his Arizona ranch. The article included details about funeral plans for the ailing senator, who is suffering from an aggressive form of brain cancer.
“His intimates have informed the White House that their current plan for his funeral is for Vice President Mike Pence to attend the service to be held in Washington’s National Cathedral but not President Trump, with whom Mr. McCain has had a rocky relationship,” according to the Times.
McCain’s “rocky relationship” with Trump famously began early in the 2016 GOP primary, when then candidate Trump said McCain was “not a war hero” in response to a disparaging remark the senator made about Trump’s supporters.
The Arizona senator withdrew his support of Trump after the “Access Hollywood” tapes came to light, and has been a prominent critic of both Trump and his policies ever since, even managing to return to Washington from surgery late last year to ensure the defeat of the GOP healthcare bill.
I’m just not a progressive type and don’t wish sickness or death on the bitter old codger John McCain. I hate this man to the core, playing his “war hero” BS for all these decades and being Obama’s lapdog. This latest tantrum from McCain just makes me regret my vote for him in 2008. I should have just voted third party.
